Our Story

A love of beautiful things. A passion for individuality. A story 23 years in the making.

The Story of Love began with a lifelong appreciation for fashion, jewellery and the little details that make something truly special.

Growing up in England, I was surrounded by creativity. My mother’s talent for couture and my grandmother’s treasured jewellery box sparked an early fascination with beautiful fabrics, thoughtful design and timeless pieces. I still remember playing dress-up with her jewellery, never imagining that one day I would have a boutique of my own.

Today, more than 23 years after opening The Story of Love in Aurora, Ontario, that same passion continues to inspire everything I do.

My boutique is a carefully curated collection of European fashion, distinctive handbags, beautiful accessories, handcrafted jewellery and thoughtful gifts. I select pieces that offer something a little different — items that reflect individuality, quality and effortless style.

Designing jewellery remains especially close to my heart. Working with beautiful gemstones, pearls and carefully chosen materials, I create pieces that celebrate personal style and individuality. Over the years, my designs have appeared on television and red carpets, worn by celebrities, television personalities and Olympians.

But beyond the collections, what matters most to me is the experience of visiting The Story of Love.

I believe shopping should feel personal, welcoming and enjoyable. Whether you’ve been visiting for years or are discovering us for the first time, I want you to feel at home, take your time and perhaps discover something you didn’t even know you were looking for.

After all these years, I’m still inspired by beautiful things, wonderful customers and the simple pleasure of finding something special.
