These rose gold plated onto sterling silver huggies are featured with cubic zirconia stones and have a polished white rhodium, ice matte finish.
The plating is 0.5 micron applied as a top layer to our silver jewelry.
Huggie is referring to a style of earring that 'hugs' the ear lobe. Small various-shaped hoops that attach to the ears with a post that fits between two halves of the hoop.
Matte finish is a texture applied to metal surfaces which creates a non-reflective finish. Matte finish is achieved either by chemical process or by using an abrasive material to scratch the top layers of the piece.
